Motivation

I come from a family of immigrants and educators. My experience in life has always been informed by an awareness of the hardship my family has faced paired with the desire to help others in need. Throughout high school and college, I developed as an individual and began to realize my passions and talents. I love music and I love to code, these two aspects of my life have given me opportunities to perform and study with great musicians in NYC and Arizona and gave me the knowledge I needed to succeed at Citibank this past summer. However, I still feel the overwhelming desire to serve, and to help people succeed in life. I was thrilled to hear about Service Corps because it offered me the ability to delve into service while retaining the stability of a job at a successful corporation. I knew from the first talk that this was an opportunity I absolutely needed to grow as an individual and I believe it will be an invaluable and fulfilling part of my career path.
