Mission: C4Q increases economic opportunity and transforms the world's most diverse community into a leading hub of innovation and entrepreneurship.

About: C4Q is a fast growing nonprofit based in Queens, the world's most diverse community. We believe that tech is a powerful vehicle for increasing economic mobility and providing opportunity to underserved populations in tech. Through our integrated initiatives - community building events, targeted policy efforts, and our flagship Access Code job training program - we work to empower a diverse, local population to pursue careers in the technology sector.

C4Q's flagship 10-month Access Code program provides free software engineering and entrepreneurship training to adults in poverty respective of New York's diversity - over 50% women, 60% African American or Hispanic, and 50% immigrant - raising graduate income from an average of $18,000 to $85,000 per year. Graduates have gone from jobs as cab drivers and waiters to software engineers at AirBnB, LinkedIn, Kickstarter, Spotify, and more.

Backed by leaders across business, philanthropy, and technology such as Blackstone, Robin Hood Foundation, and Google, C4Q has established itself as a leading organization in tech and social enterprise with an outsize opportunity for impact at the intersection of tech and economic mobility in NYC and nationally.
