The First Step Towards Hosting A Fellow

» Step 1: Fill Out Direct Interest Form

As an interested nonprofit organization, we ask that you fill out the short interest form through the link at the bottom of this page.

» Step 2: We Will Reach Out To You

Following the completion of the direct interest form, one of the members of our team will reach out to learn more about your organization and your interest in hosting a ServiceCorps Fellow.

» Step 3: Social Sector Partnership Proposal

Before we can officially certify your organization to receive a Fellow, we need to know a little bit more about you.  The Social Sector Partnership Proposal Form gathers information on the specific kinds of ways your organization can benefit from hosting a Fellow.

» Step 4: Review Of Partnership

In a timely manner, our team will review your proposal and move forward accordingly.

» Step 5: Nonprofit "Match" & Placement

In the spring of their senior year, future ServiceCorps Fellows and social sector partners participate in our social sector match process.  Fellows apply to pre-approved positions at ServiceCorps Certified nonprofit organizations.  Based on the mutual preferences of Fellows and social sector partners, Fellow placements are finalized.  

» Step 6: Fellows Begin Work At Your Nonprofit Organization July 1st

After Fellows spend their first two weeks at ServiceCorps at the New Leadership Academy in June 2016, they will arrive at your organization on approximately July 1st, 2016, to begin serving your nonprofit.  Throughout their year of service, ServiceCorps will continuously support Fellows and ensure that they are making a meaningful contribution to your organization.
