Justin Pines, Director of Education and Leadership Development
The grandchild of four Holocaust survivors, Justin Pines graduated summa cum laude in Communications from the University of Pennsylvania, where he served as Hillel President and as Student Speaker at his commencement ceremony. He received his JD from Harvard Law School, and spent three years working as a corporate associate at Paul Weiss in New York.
An interest in conscious self-improvement led Justin on a four year journey through New York and Israel to first practice and later teach leadership character development through an ancient Jewish lens. He works and has worked with individuals and groups in the finance, tech, law, real estate, diamond, education, media and entertainment, nonprofit, and nutrition and wellness industries, as well as with various middle school, undergraduate and graduate students.
Justin has served as a board member or volunteer for various nonprofit organizations in New York, New Orleans, Philadelphia, Boston, Rwanda and Israel. He is a Wexner Graduate Fellow, an AIPAC Lefell Fellow, an Encounter Davar Acher Fellow, and an ordained rabbi. He grew up in Livingston, New Jersey, and now lives on the Upper West Side of Manhattan with his wife Tali and their daughter. In his free time, Justin loves outdoor travel, live music and beach volleyball.
